J. Scott Poynor is the President of Geologic Science and Technology Group, Inc., an environmental consultancy he founded in 2000. A registered Professional Geoscientist, he directs projects focused on real property mitigation, contaminant assessment, and remediation. With more than three decades of experience, he has worked extensively in regulatory compliance and risk-based remedies.

Scott’s expertise includes sustainable technologies, accelerated site closure, in-situ remediation, and reserve valuation. He has developed several proprietary remedial solutions that deliver high efficiency in contaminant removal and support environmentally responsible outcomes.
